Printmaking - Exploring Techniques
This course is based around the techniques of Monoprinting (a painterly technique) and Collagraph (for artists who enjoy working with material and texture). Complimentary techniques such as Drypoint, Relief Processes, Blind Embossing and Chine Collé can also be used in conjunction with Monoprinting and Collagraph or separately.
Students can choose their own techniques and may want to try everything or just one technique. You may want to make small editions or ‘one offs’ the choice is yours. We will be working with and without the press so students with no access to a press can still do printmaking at home.
Please note: we will not be using any dangerous chemicals or acids on these courses.
