Printmaking & Papermaking Courses in Southern Crete

I am a contemporary fine artist, printmaker and papermaker and I live and work in Southern Crete, Greece. I offer holiday art courses in printmaking and papermaking.

This is the only art course of its kind that you will find in Crete. If you would like to learn new skills and enjoy a holiday but do not like the idea of a ‘house party’, where you are ‘at the mercy’ of fellow students and tutors, with no escape, then my courses are for you!

You will not be ‘herded’ around my choice of locations as if on a school trip. You will be creating and developing your own work and I will be available to you for advice and practical support throughout the course.

Create new work, learn new skills, make new friends, relax and enjoy the beautiful Island of Crete.

For those who want to immerse themselves fully in the ‘art experience’, inspiration is all around you. Sketching, painting and photo opportunities are everywhere.

You could link up with other students on the course, bring your family or partner or be as solitary as you like, it's your choice.

When you just want to relax, Crete is the place for you. You will hear Cretans saying all the time ‘avrio’ (tomorrow) or ‘siga siga’ (slowly slowly). They are a very hard working people but they do know how to relax! Spend your time people watching from a kafenion, sunbathe on the beach, explore little coves or Minoan ruins, sample the local fresh food and delicious Cretan wine or just siesta!

We want you to enjoy your working holiday with us and we will do what we can to make it tailored to your own needs, abilities and budget.
