Flights

There are a good range of flights directly to Crete in the summer season that offer you the choice of flights from your preferred departure airport. This offers you the flexibility to tailor your holiday to meet your needs. If you are staying for just one week you will need to book a Friday or Saturday flight as the courses run from Sunday to Thursday inclusive.

Airlines flying to Crete and Greece include:

• EasyJet (only to Athens)

• KLM (from Europe)
• Monarch
• Olympic Airlines
• Swiss Air
• Thomas Cook Airlines
• Thomson Fly

You could also check out your local travel agent who can book flights for you and quite often get cheap deals.

The airport you book to is Heraklion (HER) not Chania. If you do not wish to hire a car we can arrange your pickup from Heraklion airport (this is included in the cost of the course).

Car Hire

Car hire is recommended if you wish to be a little more independent and will enable you to explore Crete at your own leisure as public transport can be a bit limited. However if you don't want to venture far from your accommodation then it probably isn't necessary. We can book this for you or you may wish to do this yourself, either at the airport on arrival or nearer to your accommodation. Please enquire when booking.

Insurance

You will need to arrange the appropriate insurance to cover, travel and cancellation of the course.
